Your Service Provider Web Site
August 12th, 2008 by Sue L CanfieldSome service providers, particularly therapists, marriage and family counselors, and massage therapists, are not sure they need a web site or don’t know what to include in a web site. A web site can be used to tell your potential clients about you and your business and can help create a feeling of trust.
Since you are a professional, make sure your web site reflects that. It doesn’t need to feel formal. In fact, it may appeal to your prospects more if it reflects warmth and your personality. Your prospects want to learn more about you. Make sure to include information about who you are, what you do, and the benefits you provide to your clients.
Your web site should have a newsletter sign up form. Send out a monthly newsletter to connect with your prospects and clients. Offer something of value to them in the newsletter – information, tips, resources they can use. You can use your web site also to offer special reports, audio products, and teleclasses for your prospects and clients.
